This forum is for the discussion of training courses that will benefit our members. We will also allow posting of educational/seminar events on a case-by-case basis.

No course announcements will be made without prior approval from one of the Moderators.

This is the only area that training announcements or events will be posted, so if the answer here is "no" then the answer is "no" for the entire board.

Company reps wishing to post course announcements are expected to be contributing members of this site and not one-post wonders simply seeking free advertising. All requests for posting of events from company reps will be accompanied by the rep's full name, billet, and contact information. This is to ensure that the Moderators are able to verify both your identity and your company's.

This board exists to provide our members with a resource to develop, improve, and maintain their skills; and posting of upcoming training events is encouraged. However, as our membership grows we must work to maintain the high standards that have been a central vision of this site since its inception, and which our members have come to expect. This policy simply reinforces that goal.

Failure to follow these guidelines in the Training Announcements forum will most likely result in your post being deleted and your account being temporarily locked on the first offense; permanently if the problem continues.

This is not in response to any current situations or currently active threads, this is merely a preventative measure meant to keep the site clean as we move forward.
