Den Martin is thought of very highly over here in the UK. I have trained with him (he only lives an hour away from me). Some of the folk that Matt met and trained with whilst here still travel up from London to train. I understand his sessions are taxing - not for this retired old man anymore. I'm taking up origami.

He is a senior BCA instructor and teaches all over the world. I also understand that although in his 50's he still works the doors! Not a man to argue with.

You make it seem that we gentlemen who are on the wrong side of 50 are somehow "through"
Hardly.
One of the blokes who took our couse last summer just wrote to me, saying how much he enjoyed it and that he has used the techniques a few times in his work.
Well, sure hope he did not damage his foe too badly.

Not a bit of it really Matt, just joking. In fact in 25 minutes I will be running our weekly combatives class the the local YM. Now last week it was axe hand, face smash, chin jab. I think I'll do chin jab, face smash then axe hand this week:~)
