What's your daily carry knife?
Where on your person do you place it and why?
For myself it's a 5" Cold Steel Voyager, appendix position, because it's a very inconspicuous place and the draw is very rapid.
Some day soon I'm going to a 4", but I've had this knife for many years.
My everyday carry knife is a CRKT M16Z. Thanks to Brownie, I now have two of these knives and I also have one of the larger CRKT M16 1*. I generally carry my knife weak side in my right front jeans pocket (I'm left handed).

Benchmade, Emerson CQC7
Carried in strong side rear pocket.
Reason, for on the rare occasions I'm not carrying a gun it is in a position that it would look like I an going for my wallet, in a robbery attempt.

EDC for the last 5 months is a Rob Patton custom straight pictured here. It's on the belt on my weak side.
The sheath tip sits inside the left rear pocket. I'm ambi in most things but carry and shoot the glock from the right side, the knife on the other at 7:30-8:00 O'clock.
Before that my EDC had been a Spyderco Chinook2 folder for 3 years in my right front pocket. I had been known to also carry a custom Elishewitz at the same time in my left front pocket and practiced drawing both simultaneously or one from either side.

I carry right side front pocked clip one of two knives, a Kershaw 4'' Ken Onion design or a Spyderco AUS8. Brownie I had never heard of the brownie snap until today. I tried it with the spyderco and mastered it the first try. Thanks

Cold Steel 5" tanto, serrated edge, usually in the top of a cargo pocket or the leg pocket of a pair of carpenters.
I am, you'll see, an addict of Gerber knives...
I carry a Model 400 Compact Sport multitool in the watch pocket, a Paraframe II smooth edge TiN coated lockblade clipped in the right front pocket, and in the console of the Jeep is a first generation Guardian Back-up--the one with the nylon sheath and metal handle--which gets worn in the SOB on special occasions.

I carry a Clinch Pick, just off centerline...minimal articulation for access with either hand and a fixed blade is much faster and more sure into action, at least for me.
I also carry a "waved" Griptilian right hand pocket, primarily as a utility knife. I've only had it a few months and really like the design and function.

I carry several knives at a time. They just seems to accumulate on me during the day.
As I type this, I have...
Two Spyderco Chinook 2's- One each in side pocket.
One Superknife- in jeans watchpocket for regular chores.
One Byrd Cara-Cara- in back pocket for heavier utility work.
One Voyager X2 in belt sheath.
One Byrd Cara-Cara in my pack, which goes everywhere with me.
One Gerber Multi-plier in my pack.
Yeah, it's overkill, but it works for me. Add a Nightcutter LED flashlight, a Springfield XD and a spare mag, and I'm pretty weighed down during the day.

My carry knives are: CRKT Kasper/Polkowski Companion (double-edged) carried at about 3:00 in a "drawpoint" sheath. A pair of waved Spyderco Endura 3's, one in the right-rear pocket, one in the left-front pocket. And a Goldsworthy Shadowdancer (pikal/reverse-edge blade) carried on the centerline just to the left of my belt buckle.

In my usual daily attire which is 5.11 trousers I carry an Emerson Combat Karambit left front pocket setup forward grip, right rear pocket a Gunting/LLC. Although I carry other knifes these are my primary carry. Both folders were selected a) how easy they are to get into action b) force continuum. The Gunting/LLC offers many options without opening to the edge while the Karambit simply works for me. When dressed in a suit my carry goes to left front pocket Emerson Commander oriented to reverse grip with a Gunting/LLC right rear pocket.

Though EDC knives circulate every so often with me I have been a small fixed blade convert. Right now its the TOPS SAW carried in the appendix position. Very difficult to match in terms of speed and ease of draw. Especially under stress.

KenpoTex,
Nice set up with multiple choices sir;)
Robert,
I've also moved into a straight [ 5.5" blade ]for EDC for the last three years. If you can carry a straight in your locale, I think it's the better choice. Afterall, when you buy a folder, it's already broken right?:D

Right now my primary defensive folder is the Spyderco Military. My EDC FB is a Polkowski Bodyguard worn reaction side appendix position on a Tactical Tether or a mercharness. I love Al's work, he is the man. Here is something I wrote on it and a pic.

Mercop,
I like that design of the Polkowski Bodyguard myself. Nice piece.

I really like Polkowski's designs, very well thought-out and versatile. My [current] favorite "small" FB design is my CRKT Companion, one of these days I plan to get a "real" one (from Polkowski instead of CRKT). Or maybe a Scorpion (another collaboration with Kasper), or maybe a...:D

Bryn Reynolds,
I'm fairly familiar with his products, the K's he makes are fairly radical in design from the original K's indigenous to Indonesia.
I've got several K's, two customs I had made for me and a few semi production and productions.
The K's bite hard, see this thread for what happens when you "play" with the live K blades in real time.;)

OUCHIE!
"That's gonna leave a mark!"
(Part of the perils of training with toys that can bite back!)
Richie's Model 10 is just the right size, and truly makes a great utility knife. As you well know, it is hard to beat the K's design regarding retention in a CQB scenario.
I was fortunate enough during my last deployment to get quite a bit of training in with a Phillipino Corpsman that was a master with the thing. (He also taught me his ping-pong methods, which were supprisingly similar!)

"Afterall, when you buy a folder, it's already broken right?"
Hilarious:D
I've been carrying a SOG FlashII, I'm not sold on the serrated edge but in my line of work I've actually used it a few times. My philosophy is this: The flashII is pretty inexpensive and they were on sale for 35.00 (down from 50+$) so I bought 5 of them. Each bug out bag, vehicle, myself etc. has a knife (a standard knife at that), so it's the same knife/action/manipulation etc. One major problem with the FlashII is the safety feature, mine now run like Glocks, I took them apart and removed the safety feature.
I actually went to use my knife a couple of times and I couldn't because it was locked up, completely unacceptable (especially in case of emergency). The spring assisted action is very strong as well, it comes out lightning fast, and the AUS8 stainless steel is just fine for my needs. My backup is a Gerber LMF ASEK which stays in the vehicle, this is quite a bit larger and a great "survival" knife, better than Rambos' anyways. I do need to get a larger fixed blade for carry (specific carry) in the future, I really like Brownies set up, we'll see what I end up with (and can afford).
