Greg Covington hails from Ohio. Makes some very nice knives.

This custom one of a kind is something I had him make for me a couple of years ago. The sheath is made by a good friend and training partner at the Riddle of Steels, Mike Sastre of www.RiverCitySheaths.com which he calls his "Southern Comfort". The pattern on the Concealex sheath is Advantage Camo.

The blade is Damascus, 10 inches long. The handle is the best piece of premium grade elkhorn stag I've ever seen. It's another carry knife I often take with me. The sheath keeps the knife secured and when it is necessary to unsheath it, it is greased lightening to point.

Enjoy

Very nice,,,now if it was for me,, I'd want just a tad more belly, and a little more drop in the handle, and a blade lenght of 12":D

Thanks again guys:

The fighters don't normally have the belly of a more traditional/classic bowie due to weight restrictions:D

A 12" blade is a big knife. The Belle at 11 1/8" is about all I can handle.

I'll post another thread here shortly for you enjoyment DJ, seeing as how you like 12" bladed Bowies.:D

I remember Mike telling me how he came to that name, but I don't remember right at the moment, sorry. If I have it right, he asked someone else if he could use the name and was granted that permission. I'll try to check with Mike the next time we talk and get back to you on this.
