Picked one up with the Tromix conversion at the shop that came in used with 5 rds through her. The guy said it kicked his arse too much and didn't want it.
Mine is this one:
I picked up 4 10 rd mags for it as well as the 5 rounder that is sent stock with the gun to begin with.
The second picture is the Saiga in it's original configuration before the conversion. The top one with the fixed sights. The conversion moves the trigger group forward so it has room for the pistol grip, reliability package/work on the original shottie, etc.
Looking forward to shooting this one
I knew it would be a good new year despite the best laid plans on mice and men! (AKA: new years resolutions) :D

Seems I've either got to stop making resolutions or stop working at the shop hey Ram?

B,
I'm just jelous! And I might add my wife is VERY Happy I do not work in a gun shop. The 30 or so guns I bought over the last 5 years is bad enough... She thinks!
If I hit the lottery LOOK OUT! I'll probably buy a gun shop!
More power to you Brownie... U DA MAN! ;)
I've been hearing some pretty good scuttlebutt about those.Havn't seen one yet. Looks like a good addition.

I have a Tromix conversion also. Mine is the Galil type side folder. Standard sites. I wanted the HK type sites but beggars can't be Choosers! I have not fired mine. It is New unfired because I primarily bought it as an investment. I may decide to shoot it at some point (possibly when I get the drums for it) but for now I'm just leaving her in the safe.
I have two 20rd drums on order from http://www.mdarms.com/Scripts/default.asp Check out the site there is a lot of info there. They just completed a preproduction run of 1000 drums. I should be receiving mine any day now. I have been on a list for several months to get them. The preproduction price was $160 each. Now they are around $215 and a new waiting list. I may have to run 80-100rds through her once I get the drums just to test them.:D

Very nice. There is a Siaga 12 gauge in my future some day. For now I get to drool and be envious

I wish I hadn't had bought mine. I just keep it locked up and shoot it once or twice a year.

Welcome to the forum BigJim.
You've made money on your gun while it's sitting there. Good investment sir.

Thank you - I remember you left sort of suddenly over there. A few others left around the same time too.

I grew tired of some "things" there, and had been thinking about leaving for a year or so before I did. It was a good move, and I'm glad to see you here.

I am going to keep it I think. A new one is $100 less than I bought mine for.
You can get 20 round drums now for $100 new from the manufacturer but people are selling them on Gunbroker for $225.
