View Full Version : Walther PPS
To the group, any experience with these plastic 9mm's,good or bad? I haven't bought anything for a while and as some who know me will tell....POSSIBLY DANGEROUS to my wallet. Sorry for the caps. Can I be saved? am I worth saving?? ( Brownie, back off :D )
Back on track, any input much appreciated. A collective Happy Fathers Day to those included. SPG

Looks like their still too new for anyone to have experience with one SPG.
I've handled em, but haven't shot one yet.
Back from the depths...... Help anyone? SPG

All I can say about them is we haven't had a big call for this pistol since the initial advertising brought people in out of curiosity after reading an article about them in the NRA magazine.
Based on the customers asking to see them in the shop, they're not being embraced like some other new pistols coming on the market presently.
The customer/user base appears to be very small at this juncture.

SPG, I'll be procuring one in the near future. Feel free to either wait for my review, or you can drop by Denver and you can shoot her here... :D
Steve, thanks for the invite, will do...right after I Hit Megabucks :D I look forward to your review. Spg (Steve also)

I have bought two; the first one has been flawless with every type of ammo so far (perhaps 7,000 to 10,000 rounds total). The second had a problem with the striker assembly (trigger would stick to rear if released slowly), and has had zero problems since I got it back from S&W. Both are 9x19. Anyone in Central Ohio is more than welcome to join me at the range and try mine out.
