Last weekend I attended a QK session with Roger (SNB).

Where do I start? There was so much material covered I could go on for hours, actually as slow as I type it would be days.

In a word, Fantastic!

The material was presented in a logical, very well thought out patern. Starting with the basics of the various tecniques they were gradually expanded into more complicated applications all the way up to running around the range engaging multiple targets using the appropriate tools for the job at hand.

I wanted to take QK thinking I would have a new tool for the tool box... After a full day on the range with Roger I've got a whole new toolbox to carry around I wish my writing skills could only do it justice.

The following day I had the opportunity to go through a home invasion simulator. The tecniques really work, I was killing bad guys faster and more accurately then ever bofore. At one point when I thought the simulation was completed, I had performed a tactical reload and while putting away the depleted mag with my support hand they threw another attacker at me and he was immediately dispatched with a beautiful three round center of thoracic response in much less time than I could have fired two shots using the sights.

I have attended around 50 or so days of formal firearms training in the last few years and this is among the best and most real world applicable training yet.

Roger, I am a happy camper! :) You did a great job, I hope we can get together again.

Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Glad to hear you had a great day with Roger this weekend. I wouldn't expect any less from him.

Roger has full grasp of the course outline and can bring people to the levels of proficiency we expect the students to have at the end of the training in short order. He has been involved every step of the way to bring the course together.

RAM, thanks for your review here. I look forward to meeting you in the future as well.

It's good to see two students [ one on one this weekend ] with seperate QK instructors report their results in such as a manner as they have here.

Roger, we just keep moving forward with this.

Kudos to both of you.

RAM, thank you for the kind words. It was a pleasure to meet you and an honor to help you become all that you strive for. You were an outstanding student. I appreciated the way that you came in with a totally open mind and let me take you where I wanted to bring you. Your improvement over the day was a real pleasure to watch. The way that your confidence grew with each drill was a very rewarding experience for me.

One question, did the guys in the simulator notice your new skills, or did you have to keep them under wraps?

There were a couple observers who were very impressed with what they saw, especially the last one handed example. Prior to last weekend my confidence shooting one handed was marginal at best... NO LONGER!

It was the first time they had seen me shoot so it was all new to them.

I can't wait to try this out in a force on force class.

I was also glad to see Roger also cover transitioning to sighted fire when appropriate.
